Oyster Seed Sales Notice
Legal Restrictions: Oyster seed sales may be subject to current laws depending on the buyer’s farm location. Buyers are responsible for compliance with their local and state regulations.
Tax Exemption: All buyers must provide a valid Texas Agricultural and Timber Exemption Certificate (Form 01-924) prior to purchase.
Shipping: Shipping is available upon request and paid by the buyer. The seller’s responsibility ends once oysters are delivered to the shipping carrier. Proof of live stock will be provided before drop-off.
Farm Pickup: Pickup is available by appointment. Orders must be collected within 7 days of readiness. A 5% holding fee per week applies to late pickups.
Triploid Royalties: A 15% royalty fee applies to all triploid oyster seed sales in addition to the purchase price.
Payment Terms: Payment in full is required prior to shipment or release of seed. All outstanding fees must be paid before pickup.
